My bestie Bing, among other important things.
Oh, the holidays. I love them because of Bing Crosby and Nat King Cole. I like to decorate the tree and bake goodies. I actually love big snow storms, as long as I can stay in with a cup of Celestial Seasonings and National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.
Holiday must list (must is a strange word the more you type and say it):
1. Yes, please! Sugar Cookie Sleigh Ride tea from Celestial Seasonings. Do it. Or Candy Cane Lane. (photo from http://www.luckyvitamin.com/)
2. Warm, fuzzy slippers from http://www.eddiebauer.com/, $39.97.
3. Appetizers for dinner on the eve of Christmas...a family tradition. This year I'll make cranberry salsa from http://www.saveur.com/, along with some southwestern egg rolls, bacon wrapped cocktail wieners and wassail. You know, all the healthy stuff.
4. As I mentioned above, I have to watch National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation every year. I also watch Home Alone, Elf, The Muppet Christmas Carol and a Christmas Story. I might still be 12 years old.
5. I bust out the holiday tunes in early December. I usually listen to the classics, Bing Crosby and Nat King Cole, but I throw in a little Mannheim Steamroller and Charlie Brown.
I hope you've enjoyed my list of holiday musts! Sorry for being a slacker on the posting, but I have some good reasons. More to come...
